Our application process
To ensure that your application is processed as quickly and smoothly as possible, please apply using our online application system. You can send us a speculative application, or apply for an advertised vacancy in our careers portal at https://jobs.phorms.de/en/jobs/.
After we have reviewed your application and found a suitable vacancy for you at Phorms Education, we will invite you to an initial interview (usually by telephone), which is conducted with the central HR department or the location. The main aim of this is to determine whether we will be a good fit for each other.
If the initial interview goes well from both parties’ point of view, another interview follows. Ideally, this will involve meeting you in person at the institution.
However, for organisational reasons, we may hold a telephone interview instead.
Trial day in educational institutions
If the management of the nursery or school decides that you and your profile would be a good fit for their institution, then a trial day will usually be held there. This is intended to give you a direct glimpse into the daily routine and get to know the teaching team.
The quality of our educational work is very important to us. To ensure a continuously high standard, the HR department can carry out a reference check (with your express consent) if your application has been processed successfully. Talking to your former managers and colleagues whose details you have provided helps us complete our impression of you gained during the application process.
Once all relevant issues have been clarified and we have decided that we would like to hire you, the HR department will make you an offer and take care of the contract formalities.
Once the contract has been signed by both parties, we look forward to welcoming you into the Phorms network. Our onboarding process aims to make it as easy and pleasant as possible for you to start work here.
